What makes up a successful life? What makes a successful person? These are questions that one has come face to face with at least once in their life. There isn't a defined certain answer because success looks different for every person this is because we all have different goals. Some goals may overlap with others goals and this is how connections and relationships are made between two people, it may be in the academic field or in a more personal field. Most of the time these mutual acquaintances, who have risen from a similar goal, tend to motivate each other and push each other to achievements. This is the psychology behind success.
Being surrounded by the correct mindset is the key to success. There are a few strategies and factors that one can work on to create the aura they want to have around themselves.
1. The Mindset Mentor
To kickstart that busy bee mentality you need a mentor. There is no better way to start a morning than by listening to a podcast that pushes you to become your best self. The podcast "The Mindset Mentor" by Rob Dial is an increidible podcast that suffices that need of motivation and direction in ones life. The podcasts are short ranging from 16 to 30 minutes.
- Listen while you are showering, making coffee, picking out an outfit, eating breakfast, driving to work or on a walk.
2. Stop Procrastinating
There is no better time to start than now! Procrastination is what is blocking you from the life you want. View your time as something so valuable that you can never have back. To stop procrastinating you need to know yourself, some people can listen to music while doing homework because it helps them focus others can absolutlety not listen to music because they will find themselves having a mini concert in their brain.
3. Set Goals
Create a list of goals!

Start small with a goal a month and then augment it from there. Consistency is the key to keep you on track! Use this template for your monthly goals or simply write them down on your phone. Organization helps the mind.
4.Stress Management
Today's world is full of information because of all of the technological advances. Social media has now become most of people's main news source and influence. we are constantly gripped to our phones which is a major factor of stress and anxiety. We wake up and grab our phones which over stimulates because there is just too much information being thown all at once. We can't change the world around us, technology is going to keep growing and we can't do much about it. What we can do is make ourselves better at stress management. A few stress management tecnhiques are:
- positive attitude
- be involved in something outside of work
- have hobbies
5. Pick Up A Book
If you are someone who can not eat a meal without having some sort of entertainment streaming on your phone, tv, or computer than a good switch to make is to pick up a book!
There are many books that can change ones view of getting into the habit of reading, you simply have to pick one up and reserve time to read.
